- Where are you located?
- The Boone County Shopper is located off the north end of South State Street in downtown Belvidere just south of the Kishwaukee River. Turn west to 112 Leonard Court across from National City Bank and between the Belvidere Fire Department and the City Parking Lot. Phone 815-544-2166 for additional information. Free parking in front of our building.

- How do I get the Boone County Shopper?
- If you have a Belvidere or other Boone County mailing address, you should already be receiving the Shopper. If you are not getting it, call us at 544-2166.
If you do not have a Belvidere or Boone County mailing address, you may pick up a free copy here at the Shopper, the Cambridge Inn, Horizon Mobil, Hungry I Market, Kirkland Super Market, Southtowne Mobile Mart, O'Brien Snyder Drug Store, Pacemaker, White Hen Pantry, and Mattresses Plus. You may also subscribe to the Shopper for $21 per year (to cover extra mailing and handling costs).

- NO. The Shopper is a FREE, ALL ADVERTISING PAPER and received by 99% of the residents and businesses in Belvidere and Boone County. Go to our Circulation Page for additional circulation, readership and receivership information.

- What are your advertising deadlines?
Last minute deadlines are:
 Display Ads - Monday 12 Noon
Auctions - Monday 12 Noon
Want Ads - Tuesday 12 Noon
If the Shopper is published other than Thursday due to holidays, earlier deadlines prevail. Normally they are Friday 12 Noon for display ads and auctions and Monday 12 Noon for want ads. It is best to turn in ads well before the deadline. Call us for details at 815/544-2166.

- When are you published?
- The Shopper is published every Thursday unless there is no Thursday mail delivery due to a holiday. The Shopper is then published on Wednesday such as the day before Thanksgiving every year.

- What is the difference between a display ad and a want ad?
- A display ad is sold by the column inch. Want ads are sold by the word. Display ads are normally larger ads, have borders, have various sizes of type, and may have a picture or other type of illustration. Want ads are sometimes called "line ads" and are similar to classified ads. Shopper want ads are not classified.
